This site is hosted by Zenfolio if you didn't already know.

why did I chose to use Zenfolio? I had been looking for a while at different options & competitors available.

I don't have any web design experience so i needed something to Plug&Play. My previous business experience taught me the pitfalls of having to rely on others to custom build sites and the hassles that come with...

I wanted something that looked professional and that i could make my own and hopefully others will enjoy the result.

I want to be able to sell my images - i have had numerous requests but felt i needed to lock down a few things first before i put my imagery put there. The companies partnered to provide the finished imagery needed to have a consistent track record not only in their industry but also in general customer service to be able to deliver the finished products reliably. It should give confidence when deciding to purchase - that it's backed by a large reputable company.

I am sure Zenfolio has vetted their partners carefully and they certainly seem to be on top of technology as well as interaction with social media.

For most photographers Image Security is very important. The use of imagery without permission (read: Stolen) is common. You will notice you can't "right click" to download/save the images to you own computer- that's good. Also the resolution of the imagery you see on the site is controlled to my preferences (about 1200 pixels wide vs. the full resolution 6-7000 pixel wide files) which kind of negates the idea to "screen grab" an image

**The final prints are made using the High resolution files**

The watermarks are transparencies loaded to each image (if wanted) which helps if shots get shared on social media- its another way of tracking back to the owner... these are removed when ordering prints

Here is a link to their home page

If you decide you like the Zenfolio offer, there is a free trial period available and if you use this referral code V3V-SXP-7FD it will give me the chance to earn a referral credit- no they aren't paying me to write this either..
